Which of the following best describes the process by which sound waves are transferred into perceivable sound?

Sound waves travel through the air to the ear lobe, where they hit the 3 bones in the ear (the hammer, anvil, and stirrup). Which then hits the eardrum and funnels them into the ear canal. Then they go to the auditory nerve which sends information to the cochlea. At the cochlea, the hair cells transmit information to the auditory cortex which contains the parietal cortex.

Sound waves travel through the air to the ear lobe, which funnels them into the ear canal. At this point, they hit the ear drum which vibrates the 3 bones in the ear (the hammer, anvil, and stirrup). These bones in turn send vibrations to the cochlea which has tiny hair like nerves that relay the information (transduction) along the auditory nerve to the auditory cortex in the temporal lobe.
