Social Contract and Enlightenment Ideas

The intellectual movement where citizens are taught to question the government. These ideals and thinkers influence American Government and the Constitution.

This is the agreement between the government and its citizens. The government will protect its citizens and their rights, but as long as people agree to have limitations on their civil liberties. The government needs to protect the majority, and the citizens need to do what is good for the community.
