the first pillar of Islam is the profession or declaration of faith - "I bear witness that there is no god but God."

the second pillar of Islam is the the daily ritual prayer.

the 3rd pillar of Islam, which literally means "purification," is charity (giving to the poor).

the fourth pillar of Islam, is fasting, or going without food as an act of worship towards God.

Believer must say it to become a Muslim.

• Pilgrimage - Hajj

Muslims must do this five times a day.

When doing this, they must face Mecca.
