Place the steps to create a Contact Sheet in the correct order

Turn on the enlarger timer. Check the aperture to be sure it is correct as determined by the test strip. Turn the timer

from focus to time so that the light is off.

Develop the contact print.

  • Place a piece of light-sensitive paper either directly on the enlarger base or in the contact printer emulsion (shiny) side up.

  • Place the negative emulsion side down directly on top of the light-sensitive paper.

  • Carefully close the glass on the contact printer.

  • Turn on your light source using the timer to expose the paper.

  • When the light turns off, carefully remove the negative and light-sensitive paper.

  • Set the timer to the correct time as determined by the test strip.

  • Add a filter if needed.
