Gangrene

• Death of tissue.

Premature Baby

• Baby born before 37 weeks gestation.

• Baby born after 40 weeks gestation.

• Baby born with a congenital condition.

Umbilical cord

• A structure that connects the fetus to the placenta, delivering nutrition to the fetus.

• A type of blood vessel that carries oxygenated blood from the mother to the fetus.

• A protective membrane surrounding the fetus during pregnancy.

• A hormone produced by the placenta to regulate fetal growth.

Depression

• Persistent feeling of happiness and joy, increased energy levels, and enthusiasm for life.

• Persistent feeling of doom, sadness, and hopelessness, loss of interest in pleasurable activities, decreased energy level, anxiety, and physical complaints like abdominal pain or headaches.

• A temporary feeling of sadness that goes away after a few days.

• A state of extreme excitement and energy, often leading to impulsive behavior.

Labor

• The process of delivering the placenta after childbirth.

• The stage from first uterine contraction until the cervix is fully dilated.

• The delivery of the baby during childbirth.

• The recovery period after childbirth.

Hyponatremia

• High concentration of sodium in the blood.

• Normal concentration of sodium in the blood.

• Low concentration of sodium in the blood.

• Excessive potassium in the blood.

Trench foot

• A warm injury that occurs when the feet are exposed to heat for too long.

• A cold injury that develops when the skin on the feet is wet and exposed to cold for a prolonged time.

True bite
