The Indigenous Peoples' Atlas of Canada giant floor map is a unique educational tool developed in response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's calls to action. It offers a comprehensive exploration of Indigenous Peoples' past, present, and future in Canada. Developed with Indigenous organizations, the map is 8.5 by 11 meters and features layers of information on Indigenous histories and cultures. It is available for K-12 classrooms with a teacher's guide and lesson plans. Additional resources include a four-volume atlas, a land acknowledgment app, and more. Educators are encouraged to engage with local Indigenous communities to foster meaningful discussions.
