A group of Tibetan monks created a sand mandala at Clark College's Cannell Library over four days. They recreated the 'Buddha of Compassion' pattern from memory, believed to bring compassion to the region. On the final day, the mandala was swept up to symbolize life's impermanence. The sand was partly scattered into a river, with most given to ceremony witnesses.
