Amid a crisis over the poisoning of a former Russian spy in the UK, Russian and US diplomats are returning home. Around 171 people are expected to leave the US, with moving trucks seen at the US consulate in St. Petersburg. Over 20 countries have expelled Russian diplomats in solidarity with the UK. Moscow has demanded the UK reduce its diplomats in Russia and has closed the British consulate in St. Petersburg.
