Nadine Heredia, wife of Peru's President Ollanta Humala, denied allegations of receiving bribes from Brazilian companies involved in the Lava Jato scandal. She clarified that meetings with Brazilian businessmen during Humala's 2011 campaign were unrelated to any contracts. A congressional commission is investigating if similar bribery schemes occurred in Peru. Humala was linked to the scandal after documents from Marcelo Odebrecht were seized.
