VOICED : ONU termina registro de armas de guerrilla FARC en Colombia

The disarmament process of the FARC guerrilla in Colombia is progressing well, as reported by the UN. The registration and identification of FARC-EP's weapons are nearly complete. As part of the peace agreement signed in November between the Colombian government and FARC, guerrillas are gathering in 26 zones to transition to civilian life and form a legal political party. The disarmament is deemed irreversible, with weapons from about 7,000 combatants being stored by the UN and later melted to create monuments.
