The Field:
A regulation field is 70 yards by 40 yards, with end zones 25 yards deep.

After the ‘Pull:’ If “A” throws it to “B”:
If “B” catches it, they may start immediately at that point.

If “A” pulls it out of bounds, “B” can bring it to the line where it went out of bounds, or 10 yards in from the end zone. This is their choice.
Movement of the disc:

Change of Possession:

Ultimate stresses sportsmanship and fair play. Competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of respect between players, adherence to the rules, and the basic joy of play.

How to Play Offense:
After a goal is scored, both teams switch ends and now work to score a goal across the other goal line.
Must attempt to throw and catch the disc. If the disc is not caught by the offense, the defense takes possession where it first lands.
A player may toss the disc in any manner, but it may not be handed from one player to another.
Players may not take steps once they are in possession. However, momentum must be taken into consideration when a player catches the disc and takes a step or two while trying to stop.
A player with possession may use one foot as a pivot.
How to Play Defense:
Only one person may guard the player or ‘mark’ the player who has possession of the disc.
The disc may not be forcefully taken or knocked away from the offense.
Play the disc, not the player with the disc. The defense makes the calls and is always right.
Can count out loud to let the offensive person know the time of possession.
If the defense deflects the disc to the ground, they still gain possession.
