I do not need to teach SEL as I am already incorporating Positive

Behaviour Support

Our students just need to toughen up & learn these skills like we did

when we were in school

SEL removes barriers to learning.

Teachers can automatically teach SEL as they are competent (we

are taught during our teacher training at NIE)

Other professionals like AHPs can incorporate SEL in their sessions

UDL & ICT are not recommended for SEL teaching

SEL is about checking calendar & knowing the weather.
