Preparation of tinctures & fluid extracts, macerate for 4h – transfer into percolator, additional solvent was added to ensure all mass is immersed, macerate > 24h – drain solvent slowly, rinse with solvent until ¾ of the required volumes obtained (percolate) ~ 4-5 times, mass is pressed, liquid collected and pooled with percolate, percolate – filtered/ decanted
