• alguien - someone

• algo - something

• algún, alguno, algunas, algunos - some, any

• siempre - always

• también - also
  

Negative

• nadie -  no one, nobody

• nada - nothing

• ningún, ninguno, ninguna, ningunos, ningunas - no, none, not any

• nunca
  

• tampoco
  

¿Recuerdas?

To make a sentence negative, you usually put "no" in front of the verb.
No sacamos buenas notas en la clase de álgebra.

Sometimes you can also use a negative word after the verb.
No estudiamos nunca el sábado por la noche.

Agreement

Ningún/Algún is used in front of singular/masculine nouns. Ex:


Ningún estudiante

Algún asiento

Agreement - Part 2

The same goes for the other forms. They MUST agree with the noun in number and gender:

Ninguna regla
Ningunas tijeras

Algunos informes
Algunas niñas

Agreement - Part 3

"Alguno/Ninguno" can only be used if you are NOT saying the noun.

¿Tienes un lápiz? No tengo ninguno

¿Tienes alguno? No, no tengo ninguno
