French Direct Object Pronouns

In order to use direct object pronouns, you need to know what a direct object is

When something receives the action of the verb you will find the direct object

_{When you tell someone you're doing something}

you want to tell them exactly what you are doing

Is the thing you are doing.

It has to be a noun (or a pronoun)

In order to receive an action of a verb, you have to be able to receive it. In order to receive it you have to exist in some way, so a direct object must be a noun

How do we find them? How do we know something is receiving the action?

• First --> Identify your action verb.

• Then --> Ask yourself who or what after the action verb. "The subject [verb] what?" or "The subject [verb] who?"
