Mythology time!

Cephalus was a hunter and a married man.

One day, while hunting, the goddess of dawn, Aurora, falls in love with him.

But Cephalus doesn't love her back.

(Remember, he's married!)

To mess with him, the goddess Aurora plants a suggestion...

Just an inkling of an idea...

"You've been away hunting for awhile. Has your wife been faithful?"

Maybe she's cheating on you while you're away...

Cephalus is now suspicious. He will test his wife, Procris.

Would she really cheat on me?!

He puts on a disguise and goes to their house.

She won't recognize me...

In disguise, he tries to seduce his wife. But, she is loyal to her husband.

"I'm not interested. I'm waiting for my husband to come home."

But after repeated attempts, she finally hesitates for just a second.

"Well..."

Cephalus reveals himself. "I KNEW YOU WERE CHEATING ON ME!"

But she had only hesitated for a moment...

Angry at his trickery, Procris leaves him.

"I hate men!"

Eventually, the two of them make up and she returns home.

"I'm sorry for tricking you. I should have trusted you."

They go hunting together. They split up, and Cephalus sees a rustling bush...

He throws his spear...

...only to realize he has pierced his wife in the heart.

He holds her as she dies...

The moral?

Have faith in those you love.
