By the end of this lesson you will be able to communicate using just your face and fingerspell with the letter Z

3.3 Communicating with the Face
Communicating with the face is similar to the game "hot & cold" you can make your expressions bigger to let someone know you agree/going in the right direction or more muted when you disagree/going in the wrong direction.

HIDE
Make an A with your dominant hand (palm facing to the side) then cover your thumb with your nondominant hand

LOOK-FOR
Make a C with your dominant hand then move counterclockwise in front of your face.

FIND
Make a 5 with your dominant hand and lift it up into an F.

SUMMON
Make an S with your nondominant hand and a flat handshape with your dominant hand. Place your dominant hand on the back of your nondominant and pull it back into and A.

Fingerspelling with the letter Z

Z at the Beginning
When fingerspelling with a Z at the beginning of the word you sign the Z then drop down to fingerspelling the rest of the word.
(Notice where my fingerspelled word starts and ends)

Z in the Middle
When fingerspelling with a Z in the middle of a word, the part of the word signed after the Z will be signed lower than the part before the Z.
(Notice where my fingerspelled word starts and ends and when the transition lower happened)

Z at the End
When fingerspelling with a Z at the end of the word, the Z will end lower than the rest of the fingerspelled word.
