Using Past Participles as Adjectives

  • When using past participles in the Present Perfect, we never change the ending. It's always masculine, singular.

  • Ex. Las niños se han cansado (The girls have tired---- present perfect)

  • You can use past participles as adjectives too, but when you do you have to make them agree with the noun.

  • Ex. Las niñas están cansadas (The girls are tired---- adjective)
