  • manipulate the readers’ or viewers’ reason and emotion

Direct name-calling is a direct attack on an opponent.

Refers when some respected celebrity (or alternatively someone generally hated) or a well-known person claims that an idea or product is good (or bad).

It focuses on the best features and leaves out lies about problems.
