The Water Cycle!

Hi! Today, you will be learning about the four basic steps to the water cycle. First you will learn about the first step, Evaporation! Have fun!!!

3

Step 1-Evaporation

Step one of the water cycle is evaporation. Evaporation is when the heat of the sun heats the lakes, oceans, ponds, etc. it turns the water into gas which floats up to the sky to form clouds. What that is called is on the next slide! Have fun!!!

4

Step 2-Condensation

Condensation is the change of the physical state of matter from the gas phase into the liquid phase, and is the reverse of vaporization. Go to the next slide to learn more.

5

Step 3-Precipitation

Precipitation is when a cloud of water droplets get cramped and start to overflow. What we call this, is rain. It can also take the form of sleet, snow, hail, or freezing rain. Learn what happens to the water in the last slide.

6

Step 4-Collection

After all the water has been through,(Evaporation, Condensation, Precipitation) it finally gets a break. after those three steps, the water collects back into a different location. It could either land in a stream, lake, ocean, and sometimes in the soil. Have a nice day, and have fun doing it!
