Warm-up: Name as many -AR verbs as you remember in Spanish.

Many infinitives in Spanish end in -ar.

Hablar = to talk

caminar = to walk

comprar = to buy

How do you form the present tense of these verbs to talk about activities you are doing in the present?

To form the present tense of a regular verb that ends in -ar, drop the -ar and add the appropriate ending.
