Start with breaking down the prompt using the FAST-G method
F - What is the format? (letter, composition, essay, story, etc.)
A - Who is the audience? (general audience)
S- Are there any special instructions or specific details to include?
T- What is the topic?
G- What is the genre? (narrative, persuasive, explanatory)
