Categorical Data

​This is data that can be placed in a category.

​E.g. 'eye colours of 8C students', 'types of pets of 8C students'

Quantitative (Numerical) Data

​This is data expressed in numbers that measure.

​E.g. 'height of 8C students', 'the number of pets of 8C students'.
