Kentucky On Demand Writing
- All 11th graders will take the On Demand in May 2024
- Eleventh grade on demand is argumenative writing.
- On Demand scores are posted on your high school transcript.
- You will be scored as Novice, Apprentice, Proficient, or Distinguished
- Those receiving a score of Distinguished will receive a certificate and recognition on Honors Night.
- You have 90 minutes unless you have extended time on assessments. Then you may have 135 minutes or 180 minutes.

Argumentative Writing
1. You will be given a prompt and three related articles.
2. Read the articles and make a list of points for each side and then select a postion.
3. Use the information from the articles to provide evidence. Find at least three quotes and pieces of information that support your stance. Mark that information so you can come back to it.
