Definition​

With present continuous we can describe situations that are happening right now and situations that will surely happen in the future

Structure​

Subject pronoun - verb to be - verb+ing - complement​

Rules to add ing​

1. ​If the verb ends in "ie" we remove it and add ying

2. ​If the verb ends in "e" we remove it and add ing

3. ​If the verb ends in consonant-vowel-consonant we duplicate the last consonant and add ing except if the stressed syllable is not the last one or if the last consonant is "Y" or "W"

4. ​if any of the previous rules apply we just add ing to the verb
