Never look down on a Chemical Reaction
Some kinds chemical reactions can add pressure so fumes, heat or even fire can come up through the reaction.

Never point a test tube opening at others.
This is related to the first point. Reactions can come out of the openings of test tubes, flasks, cups and even beakers.

Waft
Do not sniff anything in a lab. Some reactions give off fumes that are harmful if sniffed. If you want to observe the odor, waft.

Never taste chemicals unless instructed
No eating during labs at all, unless the purpose of the lab is to observe the taste of something.

Report breaks and spills to an adult immediately
If you have a spill please report immediately. Especially when dealing chemicals other than water.

Never mix chemicals without a teacher's permission
Some of the chemicals we are using could be harmful if mixed with the wrong chemical. Even water can start a fire when mix with certain chemicals.
Always have the teacher's permission.

No Horseplay of any kind during a lab.
You should stay with your group and follow instructions. Running, jumping, sitting in an unsafe manner are all things that should be avoided during labs unless the lab involves that activity and is done safely.

Always Clean up and return lab materials the way you found them.
Wipe up spills
Put things back.
Place things back in an orderly way.

Wear prescribed safety equipment unless instructed otherwise.
Wear goggles when dealing with splashes.
