​Present simple

​Future events part of a fixed timetable or programme:

​-The plane leaves at 6pm.

​Future events in clauses of time (when, as soon as, before, after, until...) and condition (if, unless, as long as...)

​things that are already planned, or which are part of a regular routine

​Future perfect

​Actions that will happen/ be completed by a certain time in the future

​-I will have finished my homework by the time you get back

It is often used with a time expression using by+ a point in future time (then, the time...)
