• scientific notation is a method that expresses a number from one to ten times a power of ten.

• ​for Example, 3.896 x 10= 3.896 x 10 to the first power

​prime and composite

• ​a prime number is a natural number greater than one with exactly two factors (its divisable by one and itself).

• ​a composite number is a natural number greater than one with more than two factors.

• ​for example, a prime number would be 5 or 7 and so on

• ​A composite number would be 21

​properties of addition

• ​communitive property of addition. for example, a+b=b+a

• ​associative property of addition. for example, (a+b)+c=a+(b+c)

• ​identity property of addition. for example, a+0=a and 0+a=a

​multiplication properties

• ​communitive property of multiplication. for example, axb=bxa

• ​associative property of multiplication. for example, (axb)xc= ax(bxc)

• ​identity property of multiplication. for example, ax1=a and 1xa=a
