​ Show a number line from 0 to 1 marked in eighths but without labels.

Ask:What fraction goes on each marker?

Ask learners to work in small groups. They should roll two dice and create two fractions.

​ Discuss with learners the properties of the fractions in each column, then label the columns, proper fractions, improper fraction( equal to a whole) and improper fraction(greater than a whole)
