First, let's think back to one of our old friends... TENER

​TENER isn't a perfect example because the YO form is different, but everywhere else, it has E-IE stem changing powers

So what happens with E-IE?

• ​You guessed it: the only difference is that this time, the "E" changes to "IE" inside the boot.
