​STATE and ACTION Verbs

​REMEMBER!

​

• We do not use STATE VERBS in Continuous forms!

  ​

• Some verbs can be used BOTH as a state verb and an action verb depending on the meaning, though.

  ​

• ​Example: SEE (state verb when it means "look and notice" but action verb when it means "visit / meet")

  ​

• BE CAREFUL about the meaning.​

• Be careful, each verb is used once as a STATE verb and once as an ACTION verb.
