What is polysyndeton?
It is the use of a conjunction such as "and," "for," "or," "but," or "nor" in succession to separate parts of a list, especially when commas can be used.

What is an asyndeton?
The opposite of polysyndeton, an asyndeton is a stylistic choice in which commas or another form of punctuation is used to separate a list without conjunctions.
Ex. He crossed the road without looking, without listening, without waiting, without caution.

This is a literary device in which one dwells on a point by repeating it several times in different ways.
Ex. She's the most beautiful girl I've seen. Nobody compares to her. Literally, nobody comes close to how gorgeous this girl is. She makes a diamond look like a regular old rock.
