Direct objects receive the action of a verb in a sentence. They answer the question whom? or what? about the verb. The direct object can be a noun or a pronoun.

Pairing with a Direct Object Pronoun
If you use an affirmative tú command with a direct object pronoun , attach the pronoun to the end. Add an accent when you attach a pronoun to a command of two or more syllables to retain the original stressed syllable.
Ex: ¡Cierra la ventana! → ¡Ciérrela!
¡Pon la mesa ahora! → ¡Ponla!

We will use acabar de + infinitive to tell what people have just finished doing.

Remember that you will always conjugate acabar to match the subject of the sentence!
