Future simple — passive voice
will + be + past participle
There are several reasons as to why we use the passive voice in English. We are going to focus on the future simple in the passive voice. Generally, we use the passive voice when the focus is on the action and NOT on WHO or WHAT is performing the action.

We use the passive to emphasise the subject
Henry will be chosen to represent Great Britain in the Olympics next year. (The emphasis is on Henry, hence, the passive).

Future continuous
★for actions in progress over a given preiod in the future. Example: We'll be interviewing candidates all afternoon.
★for actions in progress at a certain moment in the future. Example: Don't call me at seven because I'll be writing my CV.
★for planned future events. Example: The students will be having a big party at the end of the term.
★for assumptions about something that's happening now. Example: Don't call Luke - he'll be doing his homework now.

Future perfect
◼ for actions completed before a certain time in the future.
Example: Call me around seven. I'll have finished my dinner by then.

Future perfect continuous
◆ for actions happening during a period up to a specified time in the future.
Example: By the time I leave school, I will have been learning English for fifteen years!

Future time clauses
✤ when, while, as soon as, after, before, until, once, by the time, next time + present simple/present perfect to refer to future actions.
Examples: When we see them, we'll talk to them about it.
By the time you've got back, I'll have started my new job.

Phrases for talking about the future
➢ be (just) about to .... / be due to ... / be likely/unlikely to ... + infinitive
Examples: The exam is about/due to start in them minutes (fixed time).
He's likely/unlikely to do well (it's probable/improbable).
