PERFECT TENSE
Perfect tenses give information about the time frame of an action's completion.
This Tense indicates the action of the verb has been completed by a specific point in the past, present, or future.

Present perfect: describes an event that has already been completed in the present.
To form the present perfect tense: use have or has + the past participle (-ed, -en) form of the verb.
Example: I have walked to school for five years.
Example: Dad has written many stories of his childhood.

PERFECT TENSE CONTINUED...
PAST PERFECT: THE ACTION WAS COMPLETED BEFORE A SPECIFIED TIME IN THE PAST.
TO FORM THE PAST PERFECT TENSE, YOU WILL USE: HAD + PAST PARTICIPLE (-ED, -EN) FORM OF THE VERB.
EXAMPLE: WE HAD CONSIDERED SEVERAL ALTERNATIVE PLANS.
EXAMPLE: BILL HAD FINISHED PACKING BEFORE THE TAXI ARRIVED.

TO FORM THE FUTURE PERFECT TENSE: USE WILL HAVE OR SHALL HAVE + PAST PARTICIPLE (-ED, -EN) FORM OF THE VERB.
EXAMPLE: IN TEN YEARS, THE ORIGINAL INVESTMENT WILL HAVE DOUBLED.
