  • Compound Sentences contains two simple sentences combined with a comma and a conjunction!

  • There are 7 different types of conjunctions!

  • A comma is used to separate the two simple sentences!

  • Quick tip: You will need to get rid of the first punctuation mark at the end of your first sentence and change it to a comma!

  • We can also use a semicolon ( ; ) to combine compound sentences as long as they are similar!
