What is TAXONOMY?

• Created the 1st Classification System

• He classified organism as animals "with blood" and animals "without blood." Unfortunately his system did not work.

• Created the 2nd Classification system which is currently the one we use today.

• His system consists of seven taxonomic categories called taxons.
