Which is the proper classroom procedure for entering class?

• Run into class as fast as possible and as loudly as possible.

• Come into class and just chat with friends and be on your phone

• Stroll in tardy with headphones in.

• Enter class before the bell, quietly find a seat, open chromebook or login to a desktop and begin bellwork on Google Classroom.

What is the proper procedure for direct instruction in our classroom?

• While someone is directly speaking to the class or in a small group meeting, I should be actively listening and not ask to leave the room.

• While someone is directly speaking to the class or in a small group meeting, I can be on my phone and/or talking with a neighbor as long as I am wisphering

• While someone is directly speaking to the class or in a small group meeting, I can be moving around the room quietly

What are our 3 classroom expectations?

• Be quiet, Sit still at all times, no food or drinks

What is our tardy policy?

• The door will close promptly at the start of class. If you are NOT in the classroom before the door shuts you are tardy. You will receive 2 warnings for being tardy, on your 3rd tardy you will earn a lunch detention, on your 4th tardy you will earn 2 days of lunch detention, anything over 4 tardies and you will earn yourself a referral to administration.

• You can be tardy as often as you like

• Be on time is not important so who cares

• You get a warning for every tardy no matter how many you have

What supplies do you need for class?

• Pen, markers, calculator

• Camera, pencil, pen, markers

• Pen/pencil (any writing utensil), 3 prong pocket folder
