The Slander against 'A'ishah Surat An-Nur 11-26

الإفك means:

• The Slander

• Insignificant

• Punishment

The slander story was against:

• Aisha may Allah be pleased with her

• Sukainah may Allah be pleased with her

• Khadijah Aisha may Allah be pleased with her

(Allah warns you against returning to the likes of this [conduct], ever, if you should be believers), in this verse Allah showed one of the believers qualities:

• That they don’t lie

• That they don’t judge anyone or accuse him

• That they don’t care about others

As a Muslim I have a duty towards:

• Myself only

• Myself /others / society

• Others only

• All of the above

(18) Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread [or publicized] among those who have believed will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah knows and you do not know(19)

What are the things that Allah ordered believers to do in the verses?

• Not to spread or believe rumors, wish for others what I wish for myself

• Not to commit adultery

• Not to pray on time
