What are the 4 REQUIRED ROLES at each IEP meeting?

If a general education teacher does not attend the meeting, what is needed?

• An excusal form signed by parents.

• On participants page, use "non-lookup" and type "See excusal form"

• Written input from gen ed teachers related to the various requirements of the gen ed class/curriculum and the match (or lack of) between the student's abilities and the class expectations.

• All of these.

When MUST the student be invited to the annual IEP meeting?

• If the student is in middle or high school.

• If the student is or will be 14 before the NEXT IEP meeting.

What happens if an administrator or designee is not available to attend due to unforseen circumstances.

• Go ahead with the meeting and pretend they were there.

• Get written input from them and continue with the meeting.

• Reschedule the meeting.
