Horses are divided into:

• Measures 14.2 to 17 hands at the withers.

• Weighs around 900 to 1400 lbs (408-635 kg).

• Are those whose height is less than 14.2 hands.

• Weigh around 300-900 lbs. (136-408 kg).

• Are for riding and driving.

• These horses are usually more than 17 hands tall.

• Heavier and larger than the light horses.

• Use to pull draft and carriages.

• All horses of this type are from Europe.
