The defenition of conditional sentence type 1 :

It is a possible and also very likely that the condition will be fulfilled.

The function of conditional sentence type 1 :

It refers to a possible condition and its probable result.These sentences are based on facts, and they are used to make statements about the real world, and about particular situations.

The structure of conditional sentence type 1 :

• Main clause + if clause

e.g. I will pass the exam if I study hard.

• If clause + ( , ) + main clause.

e.g. If I study hard, I will pass the exam.

The language features of conditional sentence type 1 :

If-clause 👉 Present Tense

Main-clause 👉 Future Tense

If-clause 👉 Present Tense

Present Tense =

Verbal :

-S+V1+O. dimana ( S = I, You, They & We )

-S+V1+s/es+O . dimana ( S = He, She & It )

Nominal :

S+to be+object,adverb & adjective

The application of conditional sentence type 1 :
