Adverbios. What is an adverb?   


  • An adverb is a word that changes or qualifies a verb, adjective, or another adverb.

  • Ejemplo: He ran quickly.


  • “quickly” describes how he “ran”

  • In Spanish, many adverbs end in -mente, which corresponds to -ly in English.  

    ~rápidamente (rapidly)~

So how do you form an adverb in Spanish?


You simply add -mente to the feminine form of the adjective.

probable - probable (+mente)

solo - sola (+mente)
