•For new sellers, we hold buyers' payments until they receive their items and ensure everything is as expected. We don't want to withhold the money you've rightfully earned, but we've seen that this policy prevents a huge amount of trouble for sellers if there are any problems with their transactions. This program applies to you if any of the following is true:

• It's been 90 days or less from your first sale

• You've had 25 or fewer sales to US buyers

• You've had $250.00 or less in total sales since your first sale

• You have a Below Standard rating in your Seller Dashboard

• You were suspended and have been reinstated in the last 90 days

Funds will be available after we can confirm the item was delivered when you use eBay or PayPal to print labels or you upload tracking information from UPS, USPS, FedEx or DHL. Funds will be available 7 days after your latest estimated delivery date if you don't upload tracking but mark the item as shipped. If you don't provide any shipping information to eBay, your funds will be available 21 days after the buyer pays.

Note: In some cases, such as international shipments, we can't calculate a delivery date or confirm delivery. It may also take longer to get your funds if your buyer reports a problem.

You can see the estimated date your funds will be available in the "Sold" section of My eBay.

However, in all cases, the availability date might change if an eBay Money Back Guarantee case, PayPal claim, PayPal dispute, credit card chargeback, or other reversal is filed while the funds are pending.

This applies to all items listed on eBay.com and eBay.ca purchased through PayPal, including shipments into and out of the United States, no matter where the seller or items reside.

When funds become available?

Here are the time frames when your payment will become available:

• Within 24 hours after we confirm the order was delivered if you pay for shipping and print

  labels on eBay

• Within 24 hours after we confirm the order was delivered if you ship directly using USPS, UPS or FedEx and manually

  enter your tracking information to My eBay.

• 6 days after the latest estimated delivery date if you don’t upload tracking information, but you mark the item as shipped in My eBay.

• 21 days after the buyer pays if you don't provide tracking information, mark the item as shipped, or the estimated delivery date can't be calculated. In such cases, we may use buyer feedback as a delivery confirmation along with other factors.

  
  

We may also hold funds for 21 days if we determine the transaction to be a risk. Category, price, and seller standing can all contribute to this decision. You can identify this by the estimated release date in the sold section of My eBay.
