8

Why was it effective?

Blitzkreig was effective because they destroyed the land as much as possible by bombing it first with planes then using tanks to go in and destroy everything very quickly.

After this, they finally sent in soldiers to occupy the area.

It was safe for the soldiers since they came last and the planes and tanks destroyed everything before.
