The endings in both verbs- The infinitive ar. If you look at your notes on
these verbs, the endings are the same!

The difference? Both verbs have different meanings, and jugar uses the
stem changing verb from u-ue.

Important!

If you and some friends are just playing around for fun use
the verb “Jugar” to describe your game or activity; and

If you are part of a team and train or practice following an
organized sport discipline then you are to use the verb
“Practicar”
