• it has to do with the heart

• when we do it our heart gets stronger

• examples include: the pacer test and jump roping

• The force of circulating blood on the walls of the arteries.

• Something you get taken at the doctor's office.

• If your blood is stressed out.

WHY do we get our blood pressure taken?

• to identify if a person is at risk for heart disease or stroke

• to determine our weight at the doctor's office

• who knows

• to identify if our digestive system is working properly

WHY do we take our PULSE in PE?

• to see how well our heart is working

• to see if we are in MVPA

• to determine if we should take a rest

• because you make us

WHAT are benefits to our HEART if we exercise?

• less stress

• reduces our risk for other diseases

• helps us stay at a healthy weight

• lowers our blood pressure

WHY do people have heart attacks?

• a blood clot blocks blood flow to the heart

• they hit their heads

• usually from car accidents

• only really old people have them because they are OLD

WHAT steps can we take at a young age to PREVENT a heart attack?

• don't smoke

• eat a healthy diet

• be physically active every day

• know your risk

• mental health
